As the Indianapolis Colts look to bolster the defensive end in free agency, Pro Football Focus offered an under-the-radar option for them.

PFF's Mason Cameron previewed free agency from each of the AFC South teams. One of the categories included was free agent targets, and for the Colts, Atlanta's Arnold Ebiketie was mentioned as a "less flashy" option for them.
Ebikietie was a second-round pick by Atlanta in 2022. His best season, when he played the most snaps, came in 2024, when Ebikietie recorded 39 pressures and six sacks, according to PFF.
"A linear pass rusher with a long frame, Ebiketie had 16.5 sacks and 89 pressures over four seasons with the Falcons," wrote ESPN's Matt Bowen. "The former second-round pick fits as a 3-4 outside linebacker who can also be a part of sub-package rotation on the edges."
Defensive end is the biggest need that the Colts have to address. Depth and competition around Latiatu Latu is needed, but so is more pass rush consistency -- an element that was missing last season.
As of now, the Colts find themselves in a tight salary cap situation after using the transition tag on Daniel Jones. Cap space can be made, but there is work to do.
