Wisconsin football offers unranked DL, sets official visit

The Wisconsin Badgers' new director of scouting and player personnel is wasting no time.

Wisconsin football hasn't been at its best recent, but that doesn't mean this team can't turn things around.

The Badgers just landed a stellar in-state player in edge rusher Isaac Miller, but it's clear they are hungry for more.

With its class of 2027 beginning to take shape, Wisconsin is doing everything in its power to make sure it doesn't fall behind. Not every recruit they're going to extend an offer to or set up a visit with is going to be a five-star, but at the end of the day, that's okay. This program is clearly in a rebuilding period, and that has led them to unranked defensive lineman Will Zaccagnino.

Zaccagnino announced on March 5 that the Badgers had extended an offer, and he later revealed that the team had set up an official visit with him for April 28.

As it stands, the defensive lineman has visits with UConn, Navy, and Army in March, followed by visits to Michigan State, Duke, Penn State, and Wisconsin in April.
