In recent weeks, Antoine Griezmann's future has sparked numerous rumors, particularly about a possible move to Major League Soccer.
One of the destinations mentioned was Orlando City SC. When asked about these rumors, coach Diego Simeone had left things open, saying he hoped the player would "choose what is best for him." But now, the Madrid club's management has clarified the situation.
Sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed that the French international will remain at Atlético:
He has a contract and he will stay with us. There is nothing new.
Griezmann is currently tied to the Spanish club until 2027, which seems to put an end, at least for now, to rumors of a move to the United States.
