Eagles land Omar Cooper, Gennings Dunker in ESPN mock draft
· Yahoo Sports
The NFL's initial wave of Free agency has come and gone, meaning all eyes will turn toward the NFL draft, which is less than one month away. The players on the open market are critical, but Philadelphia prefers to build through the draft, and Howie Roseman will have nine picks to help replenish the talent that's expected to depart.

This year, the NFL Draft Main Theater and Main Stage will be located just outside Acrisure Stadium on Pittsburgh's North Shore, placing the Draft at the heart of one of the country's most recognizable sports districts. With the new league year fast approaching, ESPN's Field Yates has the Eagles landing a stud wide receiver and a rugged offensive guard from the Big 10 in a two-round mock draft.
Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana
Though wide receiver A.J. Brown is still with the Eagles, the fact that the team reportedly had discussions for a trade tells you it's still possible something happens after June 1, when it becomes more palatable from a salary cap standpoint. Of course, Philadelphia would be thin long term at receiver without Brown, which is where Cooper could help. He's one of the best players in space from this class, averaging 7.3 yards after the catch in 2025. Plus, he can block extremely well downfield, which would fare well for running back Saquon Barkley.
Gennings Dunker, OL, Iowa
The Eagles can clearly line up with five starting offensive linemen right now and be in good shape, but few teams approach the draft with a longer lens than Philly under general manager Howie Roseman. Dunker has college experience at right tackle (predominantly) and both guard spots; he surrendered zero sacks in 2025. There is not a team in the NFL with adequate offensive line depth, so adding to this room is important.
A big physical presence at 6-0, 204 pounds, Cooper, Jr. played primarily in the slot during Indiana's 16-0 run to the national title. Cooper, Jr. had his most productive year, catching 69 passes for 937 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had one season of eligibility remaining.
Dunker is a 6'5", 315-pound offensive line prospect who is rugged, physical at the point of attack, and started 11 games in 2024 at right tackle, earning second-team All-Big Ten honors. He started 11 games at right tackle during the '23 season and one in '22 at right guard.
