MP News: Chhatarpur Truck Driver Dies After Contact With High-Tension Wire

Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A truck driver died in a tragic accident after coming in contact with a high-tension power line in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district, as reported on Thursday.
According to information, the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon near the Army camp on Ishanagar Road in the Nowgong area.

The driver, a resident of Saleha village, had parked his truck near a warehouse to unload cement.
He climbed on the truck to remove the tarpaulin. This is when he accidentally came in contact with a high-tension wire passing overhead.
He suffered severe electric shock and his body was badly burnt, with around 40% of burn.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and informed the electricity department. The power supply was shut off, and the body was brought down.
Authorities have started an investigation into the incident. The accident caused a traffic jam in the area, and locals were left shocked by the tragic scene.
The body was sent for post-mortem and later handed over to the family.
