During the Illini's most recent trip to a Final Four in 2005, we shipped our print editions to three sites along the way: Indianapolis, Rosemont and St. Louis.
Twenty-one years later, we're doing it again. On Saturday, copies of The News-Gazette will be available at the Omni in downtown Indianapolis. Our Hayden Rook, who will be on site starting Friday, will oversee distribution of what will be a keepsake edition that includes:
— A full-page poster — "I-L-I I-N-I" — sponsored by Kraft (above);
— Our 64-page celebration of how the Illini reached the Final Four;
— Coverage of Friday's events from our team of 12 — yep, 12 — writers, photographers and radio personalities in Indianapolis.
