The Los Angeles Dodgers put Miguel Rojas on the mound for the ninth inning in Toronto against the Blue Jays on Monday.
Rojas is an infielder, yes. And the Dodgers were actually winning, not losing.
But there was Rojas on the mound. He gave up one hit, one walk and one run, but he got three outs, too.

Why did Miguel Rojas pitch for the Dodgers?
Rojas pitched because the Dodgers were up 14-1.
They didn't want to use more pitches from their actual bullpen, so they figured Rojas could protect a 13-run lead while needing just three outs.
