Bayern Munich have secured their 35th Bundesliga title since 1965. In their 60 seasons in the German top division, they have won more than half of the seasons.

This gargantuan feat is further augmented by the phenomenal European performances the Bavarians have given over the years. All this solidifies just how good a side Bayern have been historically. And there is a very simple secret behind this — “Mia San Mia.”

It is this seemingly simple, three-worded philosophy that has shaped German football. In games like today’s, you see this century-old philosophy, and Joshua Kimmich explained the same after the win, as captured by @iMiaSanMia.

“We’re playing very, very well this season. It’s not a given to play a game like this against the third-placed team after the Real Madrid match,” he said, highlighting Bayern’s incredible performances backed by their attitude this season. We’ve been very consistent and very confident.

“Things haven’t always been this way in the past ten years,” he continued, referring to his ten years in Bayern and to the several slumps that the club was subject to, with managerial changes and unstable tactics. “We can be very proud of that,” he declared.
