We’re just about there, folks.

In a little more than 48 hours, the 2026 NFL Draft will be off and running, though the Packers will have to wait a little bit longer to enjoy their first selection. If it helps, just watch some Micah Parsons highlights at the time when the Packers would be on the clock. That’s what I’ll be doing.

Even though the Packers won’t be picking in the first round, this, to me, is one of the more interesting drafts in recent history. The Parsons trade was the starting gun for a championship window, whether the Packers were truly “ready” for it or not. They pushed a big pile of chips to the center of the table, and the ball is rolling now. How do you continue to build momentum and retool your roster even without a first round pick?

That’s a big question, and there’s no clear answer. It’s a good problem to have, though, because it means you still have Micah Parsons on your roster, and that’s always a good thing, even if he’s still recovering from a torn ACL.

In any case, we’re going to start getting some answers to some big questions this weekend.
