No. 19 Angelo State baseball team building momentum as regular season winds down

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 19 Angelo State University baseball team has had a roller-coaster ride in 2026, but the Rams are keeping their eyes on the big picture.

ASU improved to 32-14 in the Lone Star Conference after sweeping a four-game series on the road against Eastern New Mexico this past weekend. The Rams pushed their winning streak to five games.

Rams redshirt senior infielder Austin Beck was named the LSC Hitter of the Week on Monday. It’s his third honor of the season.

Beck also became the program leader in hits and RBI. He has 311 career hits and 214 RBI.

The Rams are currently tied with LSC newcomer UT Dallas for third in conference.

ASU will wrap up the regular season with a four-game series at home against Cameron this weekend.
