Firefighters were stationed at a parking lot at 81 Dundas St., which is the site of a giant ice sculpture built to tease Drake’s new album “Iceman.”

Fire Chief Jim Jessop said fire crews were called Tuesday night about “dangerous and unsafe activities” at the sculpture site , stating crowds of people had shown up with flammable liquids and open flames to melt the blocks of ice.

Toronto Police have also said that people were climbing the ice sculpture and breaking off chunks with pickaxes.

An online streamer and Drake fan named Kishka broke through the sculpture, pulling out a folder with a document that revealed the album’s release date — May 15, per website HipHopDX .

On Tuesday, Jessop said the open flames and flammable liquidsDrake  fans were using in an uncontrolled environment caused an “immediate threat to life,” and that fire crews would be “initiating measures” to mitigate the risk to public safety.

Drake has long been teasing the album, which is his first solo effort since his public feud with Kendrick Lamar.
