Day 3 mock draft for Packers

· Yahoo Sports

After selecting cornerback Brandon Cisse and defensive lineman Chris McClellan on Friday night, the Green Bay Packers will go into Day 3 on Saturday with five more picks to make between Rounds 4-7 of the 2026 NFL draft.

How might Brian Gutekunst spend his final five picks in 2026?

Here's a Day 3 mock draft using PFF's simulator:

The picks

  • Fourth round, No. 120: OL Brian Parker II, Duke
  • Fifth round, No. 153: RB Nicholas Singleton, Penn State
  • Sixth round, No. 201: CB Latrell McCutchin Sr., Houston
  • Seventh round, No. 236: LB Jaden Dugger, Louisiana
  • Seventh round, No. 255: Edge rusher Nyjalik Kelly, UCF

Arguably the top roster need entering Day 3 is offensive line depth, and Parker is a nice fit as an athletic college tackle who is expected to move inside at the next level. He's very much a Packers type of offensive lineman. His potential to play center in the NFL would provide a Sean Rhyan insurance plan in Green Bay, and the Packers need more options at guard long term.

Running back is an area where the Packers could use competition for 2026 and beyond, and Singleton is a big-play threat as a runner and receiver, and he'd bring immediate kickoff return value.

Don't be surprised if the Packers double dip at corner at some point on Day 3. McCutchin is a near perfect fit from a size/athleticism standpoint. Good length and speed, and he'll bring special teams potential (blocked two kicks at Houston, experience covering kicks and punts).

In the seventh round, the Packers took two pre-draft visitors in Dugger, a hyper-athletic linebacker with insane length who looks like an ascending player at off-ball linebacker; and Kelly, who didn't test well pre-draft but is still 21 years old and has ideal size and length for playing the edge.

One common theme of these Day 3 picks: special teams. You want to make the Packers roster as a developmental depth player? You better be able to offer something to the third phase. The five picks would give special teams coordinator Cam Achord some intriguing athletes to use.

The Packers don't think they are entering Day 3 with any pressing roster needs. That should free Gutekunst to truly target the best player available on the board.
