Sometimes, the board falls much differently than teams expected. There were a few Badgers who could've been drafted, but since they've all gone on to sign with NFL teams. Now, wide receiver Dekel Crowdus is the latest to do so.

Crowdus, who spent the 2025 season in Madison, has earned a rookie minicamp invite from the Kansas City Chiefs. Getting to be a wideout for Patrick Mahomes would be a dream come true for most receivers, and now the Kentucky native has a chance to do so.
Crowdus began his collegiate career with the Wildcats in 2022. He transferred to Hawaii, where his 2024 season saw him record career highs in receptions (16), receiving yards (402), and touchdowns (4).
Overall, it was an extremely quiet 2025 campaign for Crowdus. With the Badgers, he had just one reception but added a different element to his game with three carries for 26 yards.
