The San Antonio Spurs were the favorites to take control of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Unfortunately, the game changed after Victor Wembanyama's ejection following his elbow to Naz Reid's head.
It was a tough result for the Spurs, but it looks like they are not dwelling on the loss. Stephon Castle is already locked in for their return to San Antonio for Game 5, which is a great mindset for the Spurs.

Game 4 was a winnable game for the Spurs, as they were fighting until the final buzzer. It would have been a much different game had Wembanyama stayed in the game. Unfortunately, his elbow led to him only playing 12 minutes.
Moving forward, the Spurs are coming back home to San Antonio for Game 5 of the series. It will be a pivotal game for the series because whoever wins will only be one game away from the Western Conference Finals.

This is where experience will factor in, especially with the Spurs' inexperience, and the Timberwolves' familiarity with the WCF after two consecutive appearances. Despite the pressure, it seems Castle and the Spurs are staying level-headed.
"Protect home court. We have nothing but confidence ahead of every game. Being on our home floor boosts that a little bit. Sense of urgency is the highest it's been in the Playoffs. 2-2, just gotta protect home court," Castle said after the Game 4 loss to Minnesota.
As the Spurs continue to play in high-stakes games in the Playoffs, they are learning how to remain steady. Wembanyama made a big mistake in this game, so he will most likely rectify that as soon as he can.
