Cale Makar injury update: Avs superstar leaves Game 5
· Yahoo Sports
Colorado Avalanche superstar defenseman Cale Makar left Wednesday night's Game 5 at home after taking a reverse check from Minnesota Wild winger Mats Zuccarello in the third period.
Makar was reportedly holding his right arm to indicate pain either there or in his shoulder, per NHL.com reporter Dan Rosen. He left the game to the tunnel to get checked in the dressing room.

We're not sure if Makar is good or not, but the Avs will obviously need him to maintain dominance in this year's playoffs should Colorado advance from the second round.
Here's hoping for the Avs' sake that Makar is okay after leaving Wednesday night's game.
