Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano are two trailblazers that, after years away from in-ring action, are ready to return to the cage in what could be the biggest event in MMA history.

Rousey (12-2) is a former Strikeforce and UFC champion. She took women's MMA to new heights, becoming a mainstream star. Following losses against Holly Holm (2015) and Amanda Nunes (2016), Rousey left the sport.

After competing in WWE and starring in various movies, Rousey, a bronze judo medalist, is ready to finish what she started and put on a show to remember at age 39.

Carano (7-1) defeated Julie Kedzie in 2007 in what was recognized as the first nationally televised women's MMA fight. She lost to Cris Cyborg in her last fight in 2009, in what was considered a match between two pioneers.

Though Carano revealed she never really retired, she took a break from fighting to appear in TV shows and movies. The 44-year-old is ready to prove she still has something left in the tank.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is also in action, taking on Philipe Lins in the co-main event. Ngannou (18-3) last competed in MMA in 2024. The former UFC champion has also fought in boxing matches, facing Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Lins (18-5), a former PFL Heavyweight Tournament winner, was released by the UFC in 2024 and was supposed to compete in the GFL.

Meanwhile, Nate Diaz (21-13), who hasn't competed in MMA since 2022, takes on Bare Knuckle FC’s Mike Perry (14-8 MMA, 6-0 BKFC), in a fight featuring two of the most durable men in combat sports.

Francis Ngannou takes Philipe Lins' lights out with KO win

Round one: Leg kick right away. Ngannou with combinations. A kick from Ngannou. Lins tried to bring him to the cage, but Ngannou locked in a guillotine. Uppercut by Ngannou. Ngannou puts Lins on his back. Now on top, Ngannou started smashing away. 

Ngannou with a series of right hands. Multiple shots connected. Lins with an overhand of his own. By the cage, Ngannou landed a brutal body shot while holding on. Both swung for the fences but Ngannou knocked his lights out with a hook.

Dana White just announced Max Holloway vs. Conor McGregor 2 for July 11 on International Fight Week. 

Lineal heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is back in the cage. He takes on former PFL tournament winner Philipe Lins. Jon Jones is in the building. 

Salahdine Parnasse shuts down Kenneth Cross with a body shot

9:58 p.m. ET: Back up, Parnasse landed combinations. A body shot and it's all over!

9:54 p.m. ET: Cross tried to go for a kick, and Parnasse put him right on the ground. They scrambled and got back to their feet. Parnasse with some wrestling and kept the pressure. They traded jabs. Parnasse with a big left. Parnasse got onto Cross' back and started pounding away. 

9:42 p.m. ET: One of the top prospects in the sport, Salahdine Parnasse, takes on Kenneth Cross next!

9:40 p.m. ET: Nkuta’s agency is filing an appeal to the Moraes loss.

Robelis Despaigne drops Junior dos Santos to open main card

9:30 p.m. ET: dos Santos with low kicks that were countered with rights and uppercuts. Despaigne caught a reaching dos Santos with massive shots. Left hand from Despaigne. Three-punch combination and out goes dos Santos. 

9:28 p.m. ET: Despaigne with a high leg kick and a hook right away. He landed a right hand. dos Santos with a leg kick that hurt Despaigne. Despaigne was swinging away early. Despaigne went down following another leg kick. He tried landing one of his own. 

9:17 p.m. ET: Junior dos Santos vs. Robelis Despaigne kicks the main card off. Cain Velasquez was by the cage providing insight.

9 p.m. ET: The main card has started. 

After the fight, Fazil got into a heated argument with Arman Tsarukyan, who appeared to jump over the guardrail before Netflix went to commercial. 

Namo Fazil submits Jake Babian in brutal fight

8:31 p.m. ET: Fazil with shots to the body and elbows of Babian to end round one. Fazil with strikes and kicks to start round two. A big knee connected. Sprawl by Fazil. He went for the D'arce Choke. It's all over. 

8:26 p.m. ET: Fazil and Babian didn't touch gloves. Both came out swinging right away. Spinning elbow by Babian. Head kick from Babian. Fazil ended up on top position on the floor. Fabian in full mount. Rear-naked choke attempt. Fazil tried to choke him out. 

8:18 p.m. ET: Namo Fazil vs. Jake Babian is next. 

Adriano Moraes submits Phumi Nkuta in surprise finish

8:11 p.m. ET: After replay, referee Herb Dean called a stop to the contest via technical submission with one second left in the fight. Adriano Moraes beats Phumi Nkuta with the rear-naked choke. Whoa. Nkuta is calling for a rematch. 300K watched that ending.

8:07 p.m. ET: Moraes tried a takedown but Nkuta blocked it and forced him into the cage. Nasty right from Nkuta. Big rights from Nkuta. Flying knee from Moraes and he went for the rear-naked choke. Wow! Nkuta is out! Was he out before the bell?

8:03 p.m. ET: Moraes almost landed a jumping knee before the end of the round. Moraes was the aggressor in round three. Backing Nkuta up, Moraes landing reaching rights. Big jab. Nkuta with a shot of his own. He tried a right and a left. Nkuta with a left hook. Left hook from Nkuta. Another. Moraes with a hook. Back and forth action!

7:58 p.m. ET: Nkuta caught Moraes with a kick and landed ground and pound before the end of the first round. Moraes got on the back of Nkuta in round two. Nkuta with an escape and was in control. Knees and boy shots from Nkuta. Counter left hook from Nkuta. Moraes with a jab. Nkuta with calf kicks. A right connected from Nkuta. 

7:50 p.m. ET: Both traded kicks to start. Nkuta with a right to the midsection. Chopping low kick by Moraes. Combinations from Nkuta but Moraes landed counter shots of his own. Flying knee by Moraes, right by Nkuta. Right hand dropped Moraes. Nkuta tried for the guillotine. 

7:40 p.m. ET: Former ONE champion Adriano Moraes takes on Phumi Nkuta next. Last time I checked, Nkuta, who replaced Muhammad Mokaev, was the betting favorite. 

Jason Jackson knocks out Jefferson Creighton

7:33 p.m. ET: Massive knockout from Jackson! Wow! Our first KO of the night. Exactly what the card needed.

7:30 p.m. ET: Former Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson takes on Jefferson Creighton next.  

David Mgoyan wrestles his way to victory against Albert Morales

7:28 p.m. ET: Mgoyan finally landed some ground and pound. Morales tried to escape. Elbows on the floor from Mgoyan. Rear-naked choke with 15 seconds left but Morales was a warrior. Mgoyan won via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-26, 30-27).

7:23 p.m. ET: Morales looked tired as he tried to get up. Mgoyan with a head kick as Morales got up before the end of the round. A brutal takedown from Mgoyan to open round three, and another. Rear-naked choke attempt, as Morales did enough to avoid major damage. 

7:18 p.m. ET: Round two started with a kick from Mgoyan. Morales tried a kick. Takedown attempt from Mgoyan was denied. Mgoyan finally got the leg of Morales, turned him around and brought him down. On half guard, Mgoyan smothered Morales. He hit hard shots and wouldn't give Morales a second to breathe.  

7:13 p.m. ET: Right hand from Mgoyan to start round one, and another. He landed a calf kick. Morales with a kick to the body. Double leg takedown from Mgoyan. Morales tried to fight back with right hands and a kick. Mgoyan with a left. Elbows from Mgoyan until the end of the round.

Aline Pereira earns win against game Jade Masson-Wong

6:59 p.m. ET: Pereira missed a leg hook and Masson-Wong tried taking advantage. Pereira won via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28). Very wide second scorecard.

6:54 p.m. ET: Masson-Wong pressed forward to start round three. Right hand from Pereira. Big hook from Pereira. Combinations landed. Right hand from Masson-Wong. Multiple rights connected. Counter shots from Pereira landed. Both traded knees within the clinch. 

6:48 p.m. ET: Pereira landed hard strikes to end the first. She tried to use her power in round two, attempting to provide pressure. Pereira pressed forward. Masson-Wong got hit with a big kick. Counter left hook from Pereira. On the floor, Masson-Wong got onto Pereira's back. Pereira got back up before the round ended. 

6:41 p.m. ET: Masson-Wong with jabs early, getting close to the dangerous Pereira. The former caught a kick and forced the latter down. Masson-Wong was on top. Pereira tried using elbows and submission attempts, but Masson-Wong wouldn't budge. Masson-Wong closed the distance early on.

Brandon Jenkins earns hard-fought win against Chris Avila

6:30 p.m. ET: Following a hard-hitting affair, Jenkins won via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28). 

6:27 p.m. ET: Jenkins pressed forward in round three. He used leg kicks and elbows to damage the body of Avila. The leg kicks were effective. Big right by Avila hurt Jenkins. Avila with a three-punch combination, while Jenkins continued with the kicks. Great way to start the night.

6:20 p.m. ET: Jenkins continued to chop down Avila's lead leg in round two. Avila came forward with a jab. Hard shots were thrown by Avila. Left hook by Avila. Uppercut and a spinning backfist by Jenkins. He landed several of the latter.

6:14 p.m. ET: Both traded calf kicks to start things off. High kick from Jenkins that just missed. Avila with a jab. Jenkins with a knee to the middle and a calf kick. He kept on pressing forward. Avila with a counter right hand. He landed another. Uppercuts from the inside from Avila. Stinging jabs from Avila.
