ACC releases Duke men's basketball's conference opponents for 2026-27
· Yahoo Sports
The ACC announced each of its men’s basketball member institutions' 18-game conference schedules for the 2026-27 season Thursday morning.
The 18-game slate, reintroduced ahead of last season, is a slightly shorter league schedule than the 20-game model the league used from 2019-20 to 2024-25.

Teams are expected to begin league play in late December and will wrap up their respective regular seasons on the first Saturday of March.
According to the ACC, each team will play two home and away series: one against a “primary partner” and one versus a “variable partner” that changes year-to-year. The team’s remaining 14 games will be against 14 of the remaining 15 teams annually.
In the case of Duke, the Blue Devils’ “primary partner” will obviously be North Carolina, while their “variable partner” this season will be the Virginia Cavaliers.
Duke’s remaining 14 league games consist of seven home-only opponents: California, Florida State, Miami, NC State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Stanford. The team’s seven away-only opponents are Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Louisville, SMU, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
ACC play will culminate with the top 15 teams competing for the conference tournament, which will be held March 9-13 at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
Thursday’s announcement only designated opponents. Dates, times and TV networks are expected to be announced sometime in September.
