Reality hits quickly at the Women's College World Series. A day after play began in Oklahoma City, two of the eight teams will be heading home Friday.

A pair of elimination games are on tap. First up, reigning national champion and No. 2 seed Texas faces another SEC foe and will have to win against Mississippi State to stick around after falling to Tennessee in Thursday's opener. 

Yet another SEC team is on the block in the second game, as No. 5 seed Arkansas plays for survival after an agonizing 10-inning loss to Nebraska on Thursday. The Razorbacks will face No. 8 UCLA, which also surrendered a pair of late homers to spoil its opening game against Alabama.
