Chris Simms blasts Mike Florio over Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has received a lot of criticism over the years, especially for his passing.

When NFL insider Mike Florio took another shot at Jackson, his partner and NFL analyst Chris Simms had enough. The discussion turned into a heated exchange on their Pro Football Talk podcast.

Florio accused Simms of tiptoeing around Ravens fans when criticizing Jackson and the fact that he is getting older.

“Chris, you seem to be tiptoeing. You don’t want to be dragged by Ravens fans; you didn’t have an issue with the Eagles. “ Let’s be realistic about it: the Father Time thing is going to happen," Florio said.

Earlier in the week, Simms seemed to have no problem criticizing Jalen Hurts, as Florio noted.

Simms was furious with the accusation.

"Mike who are you arguing with and what are you getting triggered about? Like calm the F down… I’m talking about one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time."

Simms then accused Florio of being mad, which he denied. Simms's main point was that he believes Lamar Jackson has, at times, received unjust criticism.
