Gasperini unconvinced by Alajbegovic

Kerim Alajbegovic has been the name most strongly linked to Roma for several weeks.

The Bosnian had amazed the world in his international outings, which led Bosnia to qualify for the World Cup over Italy.
According to the latest rumors, the 2007-born player is pushing to move to the capital, to play for the Giallorossi.
Gian Piero Gasperini, however, is holding back: the Giallorossi coach, as reported by Filippo Biafora on Radio Manà Manà, would like to focus on a more capable winger, to whom he can divert the budget, in order to form a stellar attack with Donyell Malen, while awaiting the right winger.
The winger was in fact a favourite of Frederic Massara, and now, with the departure of the sporting director, those plans could change.
Transfer talks are currently still in their infancy at Trigoria. The Giallorossi are awaiting the arrival of Tony D’Amico, who will be fully operational as soon as possible.
Gasperini, however, has already given the club a few prospects to focus on. Unlike Alajbegovic, the Giallorossi coach has no doubt that swapping Greenwood and Soulé on the right would significantly raise Roma’s level.
On the left, however, the situation remains a puzzle. With the departure of Stephan El Shaarawy and Bryan Zaragoza, who has never been convincing, the Giallorossi will have to make changes on that flank.
