Auburn baseball stormed back from the loser's bracket of the Auburn Regional to defeat Milwaukee late Monday and to secure its spot in the NCAA Super Regionals for the fifth time since 2018.

Next up for the Tigers is a weekend date with SEC rival Ole Miss for the Auburn Super Regional. The Auburn Super Regional will get underway on Friday at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN 2, with game two beginning at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday on ESPN. The time and TV network for the if-necessary Game 3 on Sunday will be released at a later time.
Auburn will host its second NCAA Super Regional in as many years, beginning Friday, after storming back to claim the Auburn Regional over Cinderella story Milwaukee on Monday with an 8-3 victory. The Tigers dropped the opening game of the regional to Milwaukee on Friday and overcame low odds the rest of the weekend to win the regional by winning four games over a three-day stretch, which included beating Milwaukee twice.
Ole Miss returns to the NCAA Super Regionals for the first time since the 2022 season after sweeping the competition at the Lincoln Regional, hosted by Nebraska. Ole Miss opened the regional by defeating Arizona State, 7-6, in a marathon 14-inning game, and closed the regional with another extra-inning win over the Sun Devils on Sunday.
This weekend's Super Regional will mark the first time these two teams have faced each other this season. The Rebels finished the SEC slate with a 15-15 record, with series wins over Texas A&M, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, and Kentucky before dropping its lone game of the SEC Tournament to Missouri. The Auburn Tigers went 17-13 in SEC play with series wins over Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State. Auburn also defeated LSU and Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament before dropping a 2-1 contest to Arkansas in the semifinals.
