It was bizarre at the time. Why are you, especially after everything that had transpired, posting something like that? Unsurprisingly, the social media clip that went viral caught up to Aiyuk.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office issued a warrant for Aiyuk’s arrest on a misdemeanor charge of exhibition of speed on Wednesday.

In the video, you can see Aiyuk reaching as high as 111 miles per hour. The following Saturday after he posted the video, Aiyuk apologized, saying: “Sorry y’all. My car content won’t come with speeding anymore! Was Praying with my son tonight and wouldn’t want anybody else to miss out on an opportunity to do the same with their loved ones!

My apologies.”

The police said they were aware of the incident at the time. Now, after several months have passed, they have decided to issue a warrant for Aiyuk’s arrest.

Aiyuk could face a fine of up to $500 before any fees are added. He’d also likely be placed on probation or ordered to perform community service. The penalties can be as severe as serving 90 days in county jail.
