Hamlin edged Carson Hocevar for the top spot, giving the Joe Gibbs Racing driver the preferred starting position as he looks to add another Michigan victory to his résumé. Hocevar, meanwhile, continued a strong weekend at his home track and will start alongside Hamlin on the front row.

Tyler Reddick qualified third, while Ty Gibbs and Chase Briscoe completed the top five. Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, William Byron, and Erik Jones rounded out the top 10.

Several playoff contenders will also begin the race deeper in the field. Ryan Blaney qualified 19th, Austin Dillon will start 21st, Ross Chastain rolls off 32nd, and Austin Cindric qualified 31st.
