Former welterweight champion Muhammad (24-5 MMA, 15-5 UFC) takes on rising contender Bonfim (19-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in Saturday's UFC Fight Night 278 (Paramount+) headliner at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
One of Brady's lone two career losses came to Muhammad in 2022. He's been eager to avenge that setback ever since, and sees an opportunity to finally get that fight back if Muhammad prevails.
"I think Belal Muhammad is going to f*ck over Gabriel Bonfim, and then me and Belal are going to fight and run it back," Brady said on his "BradyBagz Show." "Small cage, I think Bonfim is going to get put on his back foot by Belal, he's going to take him down, and just rinse and repeat.
"Ange Loosa did a good job of taking Bonfim down. Bonfim has good submissions, so Belal has to be wary of that. But Belal has been a world champion before. He's going to know how to approach this fight, and I think he's just going to drag him to the mat and rinse and just repeat that."
If Bonfim is able to beat Muhammad, Brady would be willing to fight him instead – but under one condition.
"If he has the No. 5 ranking next to his name," Brady said. "I just want somebody in the top five."
