Yankees' Tuesday night lineup at Cleveland

CLEVELAND - It's a Gerrit Cole start, his fourth of the year, as the Yankees try and win a series against the Guardians on Tuesday night.

After two outstanding starts in his long-awaited comeback from Tommy John surgery rehab, without yielding an earned run, Cole gave up four runs in 5.1 innings in last Wednesday's 5-4 loss to Cleveland at Yankee Stadium.

Cole (1-1, 2.00 ERA) gave up six hits and three of them left the park, with homers by Kyle Manzardo, Rhys Hoskins and Jose Ramirez. The ace right-hander is on an extra day of rest, due to Saturday's rainout in the Bronx.

Right-hander Slade Cecconi (3-5, 4.92 ERA) is scheduled to start for Cleveland, coming off last Thursday's no-decision against the Yanks, when he lasted six innings and gave up just one run - on a Jazz Chisholm Jr. sac fly.
