Notre Dame announces GREEN OUT against Stanford

This is a little disappointing. On Monday, Notre Dame announced its “Irish Wear Green” game (a green out) will be for the October 10th game against the Stanford Cardinal.

Yeah — this actually is quite disappointing.

Notre Dame calls it the “Irish Wear Green” game but it IS a call for the green out. Those types of games should be reserved for something bigger than taking on the Stanford Cardinal — and a struggling Stanford Cardinal at that.

The November matchup against Miami is right there as an easy pick, but so too is the home game against the SMU Mustangs. And yet… Stanford it is.
