Udinese Calcio and A.F.D.S. Udine join forces for blood donations

Udinese Calcio, in collaboration with A.F.D.S., the Friulian Blood Donors Association of Udine, promoted an important social responsibility and sustainability initiative, hosting a bloodmobile at its stadium on 17 June.

The initiative saw the active participation of approximately 30 donors, including club members, workers and supporters, who chose to actively participate in a gesture of great civic and human value. This underscores Udinese’s commitment to promoting initiatives in the interest of the wider community and public health.
The day was part of the celebrations for World Blood Donor Day, an event established by the World Health Organisation and held on June 14, with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of voluntary donation.
By taking part in this initiative, Udinese Calcio has reaffirmed its role not only in sport but also in wider society, supporting projects that contribute to collective well-being and the promote a culture of solidarity. The club’s collaboration with A.F.D.S. is another example of the club working positively with local organisations, united in promoting fundamental values such as prevention of issues and social responsibility.
The event is a further step in the club's journey towards sustainable development models, through which sport serves as a tool for raising awareness and actively engaging the local community.
