Forward given hope of Real Madrid stay as club change transfer plans
· Yahoo Sports
Real Madrid have already secured four summer signings, but there is still plenty more to come at the Bernabeu. Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva won’t be the only ones to arrive, although the club’s sporting department has reportedly scaled back some of their transfer plans for the upcoming window.
Real Madrid are keen to sign more big names before the end of the summer. Enzo Fernandez is wanted as a new midfielder, while there are plans to launch a club-record bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. On top of this, there have been murmurs of a possible striker addition, which would allow Gonzalo Garcia to depart in search of more playing time.

However, MD say that Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho have decided that the signing of a new striker is not a priority, and as such, any plans have been put on hold. This also means that an exit for Gonzalo will also not be considered, as he would remain at the Bernabeu to compete alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe.
Gonzalo could still force Real Madrid exit

Despite this, Gonzalo could still leave even if Real Madrid do not sign another number nine. The 22-year-old has been told that Mourinho will not stand in his way if he chooses to leave, knowing that his playing time will be limited next season due to the presence of Mbappe and Endrick. He will have time to make his decision, but if he does seek a departure, it will mean that a replacement would be required alongside the club’s other transfer plans.
If Gonzalo does leave, Real Madrid would look to include buy-back and sell-on clause in any agreements, given that view him as a player that could make a big Bernabeu impact in the future.
