Netherlands team news
Netherlands have been dealt a significant midfield blow with Quinten Timber ruled out for the match with a concussion sustained during the training. Koeman is otherwise expected to name an unchanged side. Bart Verbruggen continues in goal, though he has been listed as a doubt and will be assessed.
The back four of Denzel Dumfries, Jan Paul van Hecke, Virgil van Dijk and Micky van de Ven remains intact. Frenkie de Jong, Ryan Gravenberch and Tijjani Reijnders anchor the midfield, with Cody Gakpo, Donyell Malen and Crysencio Summerville providing the attacking threat. Summerville scored against Japan and will be eager to build on that.
Sweden team news
Graham Potter has no fresh injury concerns and is expected to name the same starting XI that dismantled Tunisia. Yasin Ayari scored twice in a dominant 5-1 victory over Tunisia, with Potter’s side rewarded for a high-energy, vertical pressing approach that overwhelmed their opponents. Sweden can afford a degree of patience tonight, sitting top of the group with a superior goal difference. Even a draw would put them on the verge of the knockout rounds.
