ATLANTA — The start of the Mets and Braves game on Sunday afternoon has been delayed due to thunderstorms in the area.

The game was originally slated to begin at 12:30 p.m., but a tarp lingered on the field as first pitch approached. An expected start time has not yet been announced.
The game will be broadcast on NBC, with streaming available on Peacock.
The Mets have dropped the first two games of the series, conceding nine home runs, as their losing streak has stretched to three games. They have yet to win a game in July as their record sits at 36-53.
Nolan McLean is set to start Sunday's game for the Mets. He enters with a 5-5 record and a 3.78 ERA. The Braves will counter with Martin Perez, who is 6-5 with a 3.27 ERA.
