Ringneck Softball Tournament semifinals set

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The 49th annual Ringneck Softball Tournament has its final four set for Sunday after the conclusion of pool play on Saturday.
The final four teams vying for the title all reside in Nebraska and they are: Kearney Elite, Prodigy 18U of Doniphan , Norfolk and the North West Voyagers of Grand Island.

SD Phoenix 7, Nebraska City 7
In the first pool play game on Saturday, Nebraska City jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a long double, but in the bottom half the Phoenix scratched three back including the go-ahead run on a 2-RBI bloop single to left.
The rest of the way the two teams traded runs up until the 70 minute time limit as this pool play game closed 7-7.
SF Flash 2, Columbus Havoc 1
In the second pool play game of the day, the Sioux Falls Flash and Columbus Havoc were tied at 0 heading to the top of the fifth. The Flash put two runners on and Addi Voss gapped an RBI double to knock in her team’s only runs.
Columbus scored a run on a throwing error by the pitcher, but the tying run was stuck at third and this game ended with time ticking down and that runner stuck at third, and Sioux Falls picked up the win due to this.
