Roma have found a willing target in their search for attacking reinforcements, with Nicolò Tresoldi keen to make the move to the capital, and the Giallorossi may have an unlikely ally working in their favour.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via RomaPress, momentum behind a deal is growing, with Tresoldi himself pushing to join.

One of Roma’s own players could prove decisive: the Club Brugge striker has spoken by phone in recent days with midfielder Nicolò Pisilli, the pair having struck up a friendship at youth level.

Tresoldi lined up as Roma’s backup to Malen
The interest is rooted in Roma’s need for a deputy to Donyell Malen, the Dutchman having become central to Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.
Tresoldi fits the profile they want: a Cagliari-born forward with German and Italian roots off the back of a prolific campaign in Belgium, scoring more than 20 goals across all competitions as Club Brugge claimed the title.
That form has not gone unnoticed elsewhere, with Atlético Madrid and Arsenal also credited with an interest.
Club Brugge, for their part, have set an asking price of around €30 million, and the Giallorossi’s recruitment team will spend the coming days working out how to persuade the Belgian side to soften that valuation, mindful, too, that outgoings may be needed before any bid can be finalised.
