Training camp schedule
The Cardinals announced seven open practices fans could attend. The 49ers announced their open practice schedule. They will have 11 practices that fans can attend.
LB coach drawing comparisons to DeMeco Ryans
DeMeco Ryans has ascended to be one of the best head coaches in the NFL. 49ers linebackers coach K.J. Wright, well known in the NFC West for his career with the Seattle Seahawks, is getting comparisons to Ryans, although Wright doesn't have aspirations of being a head coach, at least not now.
This is the Niners' year?
We enter the 2026 season with the Rams viewed as the best team in the league, while the Seahawks are the defending champs. The 49ers are expected to compete in the NFC West, but one legendary former 49er believes this is their year.
Trent Williams falls in rankings
Williams, the 49ers' starting left tackle, has been considered the best tackle in the game for a while. He no longer holds that title, as Penei Sewell of the Lions overtook him.
Niners minority owner buying Seahawks
The estate of Paul Allen reached a deal with the Khosla family to sell the Seattle Seahawks for more than $9.6 billion. The Khosla are a limited partner with the 49ers. They will have to divest their share of the 49ers to complete the sale.
