McGregor had built up his return to the Octagon after five years away and the Las Vegas crowd was buzzing for what might happen.

However, in what is possibly the biggest sporting disappointment in years, McGregor’s knee blew out and he was forced to retire before things even got going at all.

Of course, some will be sad for McGregor. But for WWE superstar Logan Paul, there was no such sympathy whatsoever.

Logan Paul calls out Conor McGregor after his UFC 329 loss

The Paul brothers – Logan and Jake – have a history of back and forth with McGregor and all three have never been shy in calling the other out.

Now part of the WWE world and blazing his own path on that front, Logan Paul took to social media last night to not only mock McGregor, but call him out for a fight as well.

“Easiest money of my life, dog. This is embarrassing. He looks slow, he looks lazy. Oh my God, this is embarrassing. Look at the odds. It’s not even over, Holloway to 95%,” Paul said while demonstrating the betting odds for the fight.

“Pathetic. I have nothing nice to say other than I won $30K. When you’re done with whatever this is, Conor, we should box, bro. You might have a better chance.”

Furthermore, Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, also posted on his social media, mocking McGregor with a video showing him limping at his private home.

Clearly, this was an embarrassing night for McGregor and in terms of UFC, his career looks completely done.

As for anything being done with WWE in the future, these sorts of injury are a nightmare to overcome and in reality, it’s tarnished the name and legacy a touch as well.

On this occasion, like them or loathe them, you have to say the Paul brothers have won this round.
