Former LSU women's basketball star Flau'Jae Johnson impressed with her all-around game in the Seattle Storm's game against the Washington Mystics on Sunday. Despite being on the losing side of an 84-79 result, she made meaningful contributions to the team.

As a starting forward, Johnson finished with nine points and seven rebounds, all on defense. She also added three assists and four steals, fueling her team's transition attack that yielded 15 points. Her teammate Natasha Hiedeman carried the offensive load, scoring 31 points.

The loss puts the Storm on a two-game losing streak. Johnson faced off against former LSU teammate Angel Reese when the Storm played the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. She scored 14 points and dished out five assists.

In her first WNBA season, Johnson cemented herself as an everyday starter. She averages 12.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, along with shooting 37.5% from the field. She was selected by the Golden State Valkyries at No. 8 overall, then got traded to the Storm on draft night.
