Daryl Clark has been ruled out for the rest of the Super League season with an ankle injury to take St Helens' absentee list up to 15 first-team players.
Clark, 33, suffered an ankle ligament injury in the Magic Weekend defeat by Wigan at the start of July and scans have revealed he needs an operation.

The former Castleford Tigers and Warrington Wolves hooker will have surgery as soon as possible.
"It's not the news I wanted to hear and it's frustrating, but I'll get the surgery done and get ripped into my rehab to try to get back ASAP," he told the club website.
Clark has stood out in St Helens' difficult season, scoring five tries and setting up a further eight in his 18 appearances.
