MLB Insider Reveals Encouraging Injury Update On Brewers Ace

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski

Fortunately for Milwaukee Brewers fans, Jacob Misiorowski should be back soon.

Misiorowski, who last pitched on July 7, was scratched from last Sunday's start against Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates due to right arm fatigue. He also missed Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia, which the National League lost, 4-0.

Thankfully, his injury doesn't seem to be serious. According to a report from MLB Network's Jon Morosi on Friday, Misiorowski is expected to return to the Brewers' rotation during their upcoming home series against the New York Mets early next week.

Accordingly, the 24-year-old flamethrower should be well-rested for the second half after two weeks off. He'll also benefit from an easy home matchup against the Mets, who have been one of the worst teams in baseball this year.

MLB's ERA leader will look to pick up where he left off before the All-Star Break, when he went 10-4 with a 1.62 ERA and a whopping 167 strikeouts in 111 innings.
