Per KBTX, authorities allege that driver Charles Eric Medina passed Rapp and her fellow cyclist, slammed on the brakes, then reversed into her. He currently faces charges of manslaughter.
“Hanarchy” made her professional debut in 2024, racking up an 8-1-1 record while splitting her time between the U.S. and Mexican scenes. Her efforts earned her a crack at Brown on Most Valuable Promotions’ fourth all-women show, where she gave a solid account of herself in defeat despite splitting her time between the sweet science and a full-time gig at Texas A&M. It was an incredible run for someone who only picked up boxing five years prior.
We wish the best for Rapp’s friends and family as they grieve a horrific loss.
