Grizzlies Cam Boozer, Cedric Coward score summer league honors

Memphis Grizzlies rookie Cam Boozer was named an All-NBA Summer League first-team selection on July 21.
The franchise's first-round pick led the team to the summer league title game, where it lost to the Golden State Warriors on July 19.

Boozer, the former Duke star who was taken No. 3 overall in the June draft, played in eight of the Grizzlies' nine summer league games. In the games played in Vegas, Boozer averaged 18.5 points, 8 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
Second-year player Cedric Coward was also recognized for his work during summer league play, landing second-team honors after averaging 19 points and 7 rebounds a game, while shooting 41.7% from the 3-point line.
Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg was named summer league MVP. Rounding out the first team were Brayden Burries (Bucks), Meleek Thomas (Cavs) and Caleb Wilson (Bulls).
Joining Coward on the second team were Egor Dёmin (Nets), Khaman Maluach (Suns), Liam McNeeley (Hornets) and Zyon Pullin (Timberwolves).
