Tennessee sports information staff honored by FWAA at SEC media days

Tennessee senior associate athletics director of strategic communications Bill Martin and his staff were honored by the Football Writers Association of America at SEC football media days in Tampa, Florida.

Martin, Sean Barows, Shane Switzer and Forest Jersey were recognized with a Super 11 Award.
Super 11 awards were established in 2009 to identify and reward sports information departments and programs that exemplify excellent media relations.
Tennessee earned a Super 11 Award for the 2025 season, along with Clemson, Navy, Iowa, South Carolina, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Ohio State, SMU, Texas Tech, Nebraska, San Jose State and Kansas.
The 2025 season marked the fourth time Tennessee has won the award. Iowa, South Carolina and West Virginia were also recognized for a fourth time. Clemson earned its 16th Super 11 Award, while Navy won its ninth award. Texas Tech was recognized for a third time. Ohio State and San Jose State have both won twice and Kansas was recognized for the first time.
