At the tender age of 20, Dominique Malonga has already established her name as one of the WNBA's biggest stars. The Storm star added to that reputation in a major way during Saturday night's All-Star Game, dancing in starlight in a manner only few players in league history have ever attempted.
Malonga has long been renowned for her length and vertical leap. In fact, her willow-like frame has made her something of a unicorn at the WNBA level.
Videos of Malonga dunking the ball flooded the internet in the weeks and months leading up to the 2025 WNBA Draft. More than a year later, she showed that those clips weren't from a bygone era, authoring up one of the greatest jams in league history.
With that, here's what you need to know about Malonga's high-flying exploits during the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

Malonga took flight partway through the second quarter, corralling a deft Angel Reese pass with the lane gaping. Taking advantage of the runway that opened up before her, the French standout raced to the cup, cuffing the ball with her right hand as she attacked the rim.
Then, euphoria: Malonga soared to the heavens before ripping the unruly effort down with aplomb.

Her teammates took note of the famous finish, the first slam to take place in an All-Star Game since Sylvia Fowles accomplished the feat in her final All-Star appearance in 2022.
With her acrobatics, Malonga became one of just five players to leap to the rafters β and live to tell the tale β during the All-Star Game. She'll look to find similar success to her predecessors, all of whom have or will be inducted to the Hall of Fame.

Malonga is one of just nine players to dunk in a WNBA contest. There haven't been many efforts better than the one she pulled off on Saturday night β a confident attempt that would have been successful even if the rim was one foot higher.
Suffice to say, those who watched the former No. 2 pick take flight were left in awe.
