Peel cops say a child was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after being pulled from a backyard swimming pool in Mississauga on Tuesday.
The incident happened in the area of Dundas St. W. and Erin Mills Parkway.
A 911 call for a drowning in the area first came in at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Peel paramedics told CBC News.
First-responders could be seen at the scene, with multiple ambulances, police cars and fire trucks present, the outlet reported.
The child’s age was not immediately known.
