The KFDX Sports Team is hard at work gearing up for the 2026 high school football season in Texoma, inlcuding our annual tradition of team previews for all 35 Texoma programs.

Practices for local high school football programs begin on Monday August 3rd, and area teams are preparing for the upcoming season before it officially kicks off in the last full week of August.
Tobin McDuff, M.J. Baird, Parker Hollendoner, and Ben Coker are making their way across Texoma, previewing every single team in the area, from six-man to class 5A.
Friday Night Football previews will air every day until the start of football season during KFDX nightly newscasts. A schedule of which teams will be previewed every day can be found below:

Ahead of the 2026 high school football season in Texoma, key players at local high school programs will be highlighted on in a “Players to Watch” story on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
Friday Night Football will air on KFDX from 10:15 p.m. until 10:35 p.m. every Friday of the high school football season. Following, an hour-long edition of the show will air on KFDX+, our streaming app, starting at 11:35 p.m.
