LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky and Kansas always spark memories for basketball fans, and Wednesday night was a happy one for Cats fans.
La Familia met with Kansas' alumni team, JHX Hoops, in the alumni championship game of TBT, and they never left any doubt about who was the better team.

After some early chippiness that led to an early tie at 10, La Familia settled down and never looked back, outscoring JHX in every quarter, including a 21-7 3rd quarter.

Kentucky was once again led by Archie Goodwin, who finished the night with 28 points and could have locked up his tournament MVP case with his performance.
Darrly Morsell and Willie Cauley-Stein also scored double-digit points as La Familia shot 46.4% from the floor and 34.8% from 3 while holding JHX to 30.% and 17.2% respectively.
La Familia will now host the TBT championship inside Historic Memorial Coliseum at 1 p.m. They will face the winner of the non-alumni championship between The Mecca and Davis Steel.
