Tyler Guyton saw right tackle work on Saturday

In the lead up to, and in the early days of Dallas Cowboys training camp, head coach Brian Schottenheimer was specific in noting that the team was planning to move some of their offensive linemen around in the name of figuring different things out.

Tyler Smith and Tyler Booker were brought up in various capacities and those garnered headlines. Tyler Guyton is the other “Tyler” of the group, and he was the first one to experience a literal change early on in camp.

Saturday’s session saw Guyton working at right tackle as opposed to his traditional position (in terms of his career with the Cowboys) of left. It was with the second team, but still worth noting.

Maybe there is a world where Tyler Guyton is playing right tackle and Tyler Smith is playing left. Who knows.

This could all just be for preparations in the event of an emergency, but these are the types of things to happen at training camp that are worth paying attention to and keeping in mind.
