Game two of the series will see Bailey Ober and the Twins try to secure a series win against the Orioles. They will counter with righty Brandon Young.

Ober is coming off consecutive quality starts, and in his last one he didn’t even record a strikeout in his six innings of work against the Royals. I feel like you don’t see that too often these days, but Ober is certainly one of a kind with the stuff he has.

Brandon Young has been quite good in his second year at this level, posting a 122 ERA+ in 19 starts so far. Young was signed by the Orioles in 2020 after not being drafted in the COVID-shortened draft. Injuries, including Tommy John surgery, delayed his career until making his debut last year.

I’ll be at work when the game starts, so I’ll be sure to bring good luck and spark a rally when I get home. GO TWIMS GO!
