The former Cyclone turned NBA star will bring his Indiana Pacers to Ames for an exhibition game at 6 p.m. on Oct. 7 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 9, with more information coming at a later date, according to a news release from Iowa State Athletics.

Haliburton averaged 10.1 points, 4.7 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game across two seasons in Ames. He earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors after his final season in 2020, and Iowa State unveiled a banner at Hilton Coliseum in March 2025 to commemorate his Olympic gold medal with Team USA.

The 26-year-old did not play during the 2025-26 NBA season after tearing his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. The two-time NBA All-Star is entering his seventh professional season, having averaged 17.5 points, 8.8 assists, 3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
