Masters champion Rory McIlroy has named LeBron James as the athlete he would most like to give a golf lesson to.

James only started playing golf last summer and, like most amateur golfers, now wants to play at every opportunity.
He recently visited the United Kingdom and Ireland on a golfing trip with his title-winning Cleveland Cavaliers teammates.

Former world number one McIlroy has now explained why he wants to give LeBron a lesson more than anyone.

Rory McIlroy was asked which athlete he would “love” to give a golf lesson ahead of the FedExCup Playoffs in Memphis.
McIlroy responded: “I would say LeBron. LeBron’s really gotten into golf….
“He’s the most unbelievably gifted athlete, but it doesn’t look like it when he’s on the golf course. So, I’d love to give him a lesson.”
If McIlroy taught LeBron to use his athleticism in his golf swing, he would immediately hit the ball much further.
And the Philadelphia 76ers superstar has already given McIlroy an emphatic response on his Instagram story.
“Well, guess what? I’m in for that lesson for sure,” he posted, meaning we could see them on the golf course together soon.
