Skip Bayless, one of the most vocal and unapologetic voices in the sports world, appears to be dissatisfied with both DiJonai Carrington and Stephanie White.
The ex-ESPN commentator went on social media to rip both for their responses after the former’s Flagrant 2 foul against Sophie Cunningham over the weekend.

Skip Bayless Reacts to Stephanie White, DiJonai Carrington’s Comments About Hard Foul on Sophie Cunningham
The Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game, which ended in a 90-86 Fever win and saw Carrington assessed a Flagrant 2 for hitting Cunningham in the face, took place on Saturday. However, it was still a topic of discussion on Tuesday before the Fever played the New York Liberty.
Speaking about the incident, White, the Fever’s head coach, claimed she did not get to see the play “in real time,” something Bayless took particular issue with.
Bayless went on X Wednesday to call out both Carrington and White for their respective comments, and did not mince words.
“1st DiJonai says her immediate tweet ‘white privilege’ was not about her ejection,” Bayless wrote. “Now Stephanie White claims she did not see the play ‘in real time,’ spoke about it afterward without seeing replays. WHAT??? SHE’S THE HEAD COACH! Preposterous insulting excuses. This league.”
Bayless seems to have several issues, particularly with White’s comments. First, she reacted to the foul in her postgame press conference immediately after the Fever-Sky contest, remarks that were made despite her apparently not watching the replays at all.
Second, he appears to be vexed by White’s claim that she did not see the play “in real time,” a widely divisive comment.
Bayless, like others who had a problem with what White said, is insinuating that this is absurd because the play happened right in front of the Fever’s bench.
While he did not delve deeply into it, he also seemed to have an issue with Carrington’s actions after the foul. Not long after she was ejected, she went on her Threads account, where she posted the phrase “white privilege” in all caps before tagging the Indiana Fever. She later claimed it was not related to her ejection at all.
Considering the WNBA has already moved fully past the incident, nothing more can come of it but more comments and drama. For Bayless’ part, he was just doing what he always did with his post: being outspoken about something he zeroed in on.
