Suspended Mariner High School head football coach Tyran Jones announced his resignation in a social media post on Aug. 18, 2026.
"After much thought and consideration, I have officially resigned as head football coach of the Mariner Tritons," Jones wrote. "I'm grateful for every player, coach, family and person who has been part of this journey."
